IGIT, first, I don't threaten anybody... I just warned you that some of your writings have a condescending style...

let me explain... let's look at the two exact statements below

do you believe that the Qur'an is the word of God ?
do you believe that the Qur'an is the word of God !

the first statement is a straightforward question,
the second is a condescending ridiculing question... at least that is how I read it...

now, I am not asking you or any non-Muslim to believe that the Qur'an is the word of God... not by any means... all I am asking everyone here is to display respect when referring to the Qur'an and the Prophets peace be upon them all.

is that too much to ask ? is that to difficult to do ?

that is all IGIT. hope I clarified that matter.

now, as for the author of the book... let me explain why I don't see the logic as flawed at all... and by the way, let me repeat, he did not author what is in the book... he compiled it relying on authenticated sources... so, there is a chain of authentication that goes back all the way to the days of the Prophet pbuh.

if one or say a number of verses were revealed to the Prophet pbuh one day.... then later (few days or weeks as we really don't know how long or short was the time gap between verses), some more verses were revealed for a different reason... why should there be a link between the former and latter verses ? what you are saying is, then may be they should have been separated as a new Surah to make the distinction... well, they are separated, but not as a completely new Surah... but rather new verse...
