I've found the link, and Hector Ruiz is directly quoted as saying that AMD gets 200 useable die per wafer at .18:

Ruiz also told investors that at 0.18 micron, AMD's process technology yields 200 usable die of Athlons, which measure 129mm squared each. At 0.13 micron, AMD will be able to produce 315 die per wafer, as the company shifts to its Thoroughbred core.

Now, why don't you find us a link where Intel has ever claimed to be getting more than 33.3 of their smaller on average useable die per wafer?

:-)

PS - with 128mm2 die, and assuming 10% edge and cutting loss, that works out to 91% yields!

Compared to Intel's less than 20%! (or show me a link where Intel officially quotes anything better)
