Dan, Re: "Hector Ruiz is directly quoted as saying that AMD gets 200 useable die per wafer at .18"

Dan3 saves the day again. Of course.

AMD gets 91% yield, cause Hector said so. Intel gets less than 20% because Dan3 can't find a link to prove otherwise.

Must be why Intel needs more than 20 fabs to produce what AMD can with one (tm Dan3). It's all the way back into Dan3 unreality all over again.

Blow Boy Ban Ban Dan - Re: "Ruiz also told investors that at 0.18 micron, AMD's process technology yields 200 usable die of Athlons"

Do the math - you CLOWN !!

200 Die/wafer*4000 WSPS (Dresden only)*13 = 10,400,000 CPUS from DRESDEN ONLY in Q3 2001!!!!!

That does NOT INCLUDE Austin !!

Yet AMD said they were production limited last quarter at 7,700,000 CPUs !!!

You Droids can't even do simple math, let alone logic!!
