I think I'll keep my job through Christmas.

I found a resistor last week and today it was confirmed that nobody wanted it. LOL, I have been working for months and haven't actually done anything for the company, that is I look at things and try to figure them out but so far they have been okay, so at best I have pestered some busy folks. In this environment a company will keep you around only so long if all you do is pester the rest of the staff. Last week I found a tiny fluxuation in a circuit that failed once every few billion cycles or so, and the circuit had a tiny resistor connecting it to a different nearby circuit, only these two things really shouldn't be connected at all. Today it was confirmed, they shouldn't be connected and when the resistor was removed, Viola! several head scratching problems went away. I'd save the resistor as a suvenier but it's too small to fit in my pocket.
