Classic joke from the Sci-Fi community:

Aliens land on Earth and establish first contact with Humanity. People get all excited and let down their guard, because an aging sci-fi writer has discovered that a book they brought with them is called "How to Serve Man".

The excitement turns to horror, though, when another writer takes a look, and determines it's a cook book...
