Thanks for the post maried. A couple of points:

"But, if abortion is legal in the US, there are circumstances like incest and rape where the parent is the perp"

In this case the parent is a criminal, and I agree with you (if I understand you correctly) that no new laws would be necesary in this case. The parent has taken his self out of the parenting role in this case. It would be best if the victim were counceled by someone other than the parent. I don't think this is what Hilary has in mind with her position that parents need not be consulted. If anyone knows otherwise I would appreciate a correction.

"This is so different from a teenage girl having unprotected sex and then being able to get an abortion without parental consent"

Exactly.

"My problem is that every time an exception is made in a situation, the exception becomes the rule"

I agree 100%, and this is why I don't trust the "gun control" folks either. Their agenda is to take away my right to protect myself imo.

Other than emotion, what is one's reason to consider the murder of a grandchild because of rape or incest. Should all children born or rape or incest be marked as the have less rights than a child not created that way.

Incest and rape are evil acts. If this make a child so evil it should be murdered, then the child is always evil even if born.

All unwanted pregnancies deal with the choice to give life or to murder life. How does one square "All men are created equal" and t"he rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

Who has the strength to give unconditional love. Murder is unconditional hatred. No greater love hast any man than to lay down one's life for another. This pain would take enormous love to endure. But think of the child at few month's a year, two. Consider the joy of one's own children as they grew. Beyond the pain can one hate a grandchild.

I cannot comprehend hating a new born babe.

"...every time an exception is made in a situation, the exception becomes the rule."

That is how liberals operate. Inch by inch, they are relentless.
