Consider the joy of one's own children as they grew. Beyond the pain can one hate a grandchild.

I didn't say this would be an easy decision. I didn't even say that it would be a decision that I would be able to make. But I do know that if my young daughter was violently raped, I would be thinking of her life, her pain, and the horrible memories she would be forced to live with. Adding months of pregnancy and childbirth to that pain, might destroy her...physically and emotionally. I would be a Mom first...

I cannot comprehend hating a new born babe

This is not about the hatred of an unborn babe. This child was conceived in a evil act on a young girl. The child would never be evil. The decision should be left to the daughter and her parents...with support from her church, her doctor and her counselors. And if she decided to keep the child, loved!

Anyone who uses a wide brush to encompass all abortions as one, has not had to make painful life and death decisions.

I believe that a woman has a right to choose. She has a right to choose to have sex...she has a right to use birth control...she has a right to say no. When these rights are taken away from her through incest or rape, she has a right to have an abortion. IMO, if her rights have not been taken away, she has no right to have an abortion. But our laws say otherwise, and until that law changes...I would never oppose that right with violent rhetoric or actions.
