Evil people share one common trait, they have no race or ethnic origin they are equally distributed among all races in all places. The main objective is to make sure they don't get to power or have the ability to deliver a lot of harm. The US especially between 1/20 and 9/11 was internally focused and looking for enemies rather than trying to build peace. Clinton did a last gasp with Arafat and Sharon. But even as Sharon was getting elected a lot of folks predicted his hawkishness would lead to a lot of violence. Bush was very isolationist while the tensions mounted. We as in the US haven't busted anything very much to establish and maintain peace. Your perception is what it is. But in fact one is of the largest businesses for US since WWII, has been arming the world by exporting weapons such that they can fight each other and we can maintain a huge defense business. We are and have been for a number of the years the world's largest arms exporter by far. Everything boils down to two things money and religion. When people or countries don't have the money they deem appropriate and required they use their religion to justify terror and war. As we move on remember this the Earth is a tiny little fly spec in the Universe. It harbors the ability to easily destroy itself or grow prosperous and peaceful. War and conflict put the future in jeopardy. 9/11 needs atonement, but it is not justification to set the whole planet up for military disaster. So who is evil and who is good is different depending on perspective. One thing doesn't change Old Men send Young Men into war to get killed. Our policies have favored Israel and snubbed the Arabs for as long as I have been alive
