Katie Kouric strikes again!!!!!
This morning on NBC, Katie asked a father of one of the service men killed in the friendly fire accident.
" So your son was killed by the SO CALLED friendly fire."
She went on to intimidate the interviewee, with questions like " do you know what your son WAS DOING OVER THERE."
amazes me how these people can be called journalists.
JMHO. I will never watch the today show again.

e.t. is this your position. The title of this piece convicts Attorney General John Ashcroft of attempting treason. This conviction is based upon quoting unnamed individual in saying all kinds well I think it may be this.
I see no example of anyone having civil liberties undermined.

Such absurd nonsense based upon nobodies opinion. e.t. do you agree with nobodies opinions.

I watched Senator Kennedy ask about the fact that the FBI was refused access to information collected by the government concerning the law that restricts the ability of the Government to have access. Even thought this information would be useful in knowing about terrorist the law was upheld. So Senator Kennedy by his questions gave the only concrete examples of what Attorney General Ashcroft and President George W. Bush are doing about upholding the law and not violating the privacy of Americans. e.t. that is a civil liberty.

So mr. neas (a motor mouth of the site you posted)said in a sentence constructed to possibly mislead. A dangling vacant liberal mind.

"As the nation s top law enforcement officer," Neas continued, "the attorney general must uphold our Constitution and laws, not try to amend them by executive fiat."

The Attorney General Ashcroft and President George W. Bush are following completely the constitutional system of checks and balances. The exchange between Attorney General John Ashcroft and Senator Kennedy showed by example, the only example of actions taken.

The article you post starts off with an OUTRIGHT LIE.

"Congress must challenge moves by Attorney General Ashcroft to undermine civil liberties and evade constitutional system of checks and balances"

Why do you read and post such drivel? Did you see the hearings? If so, do you agree with the LIE above that the author uses? Inflamatory, derogatory lies that undermine our counrty and our leaders are un-American. If you saw the proceedings and have ANY DOUBT that the AG is doing ANYTHING with the goal of undermining our civil liberties then you are a FOOL imo. If you see the truth in his actions and spread the lies then you are a traitor.
