RE:Are you just talking about non government citizens? I assumed the original poster was referring to all liberal democrats whether elected to public office or not. I am sure there must be some Christian coalition members who hold public office. But my general point was that I believe conservatives and Christian coalition members are just as likely to want to impose their moral values on the general populace as liberal democrats are. As a self-proclaimed moderate, I resist the pressure from both sides.
