Jim, Re: "If they include X-box chips, they may well gain market share, unequivocally ."

x86 market share is x86 market share is x86 market share. It's all the same. Glad that you're happy about it.

Jim,

re: If they include X-box chips

You are like a bull dog, once you get a hold of something you never let go. You used to say X-Box chips sold for next to nothing, they were a loss for Intel. Now they are an excuse for AMD losing share. Droid logic, whatever happens is good for AMD, bad for Intel, by whatever convoluted analysis is required.

The majority of those X chips shipped in Q3, not Q4. Q3 was the big inventory ramp, filling the retail shelves, now we get the sell-through reorders. Probably not materially significant for Intel, thus no analyst questions.

There was a time when you were neutral and rational in your investment opinion of AMD and Intel. What made you start to take it so personally? Why did you vote Paul off the AMD thread?

John

Jimmy Mac, market share figures are more showboating than substantial. You have constantly ridiculed Intel for supposedly giving away X-Box CPUs just to increase their market share numbers. Yet why haven't you ridiculed AMD for the days when they gained market share by pricing their CPUs extremely low?

Ban Bam McJanus - Re: "I'm getting happier about my Intel purchases. "

To use your AMdroid brethern's expression - you're the best
retroactive trader around !

I expect you'll be posting your retroactive AMD purchases over on the Banny Mani thought control thread real soon now.
