You guys do know you're given Bob more filler for the show. Better yet if there's a link to an article pounding California real estate values. Especially if others have lost money due to something other than his advice.

Love the Bay Area, but the quality of life has significantly eroded IMO. $1.2 m for 1200 sq in LA is, well, not great even though that is one of my fav towns.

This might just be a nice breather, has the traffic gotten any better lately?

kirk, the key is whether one's job is *really* secure ;-) sound slike you made some good judgments (and got a little lucky, too! :-)

i'm actually hoping for real estate to drop a lot as i like to buy low/reasonable and want to upgrade into a larger home in 3-5 years and rent out my current home. depreciation is the only *real* tax shelter that i can see...
