Wife kids change of venue time...

I did go a few times though for Walleye (what they call Pickerel here abouts in Ontario).
I still go with he kids though in the spring to watch the salmon.

Besides my daughter was aghast when her uncle wanted to take her fishing and talked about hookin' them. He catches to eat typically. I believe you mentioned a long while back barbless hooks and releasing only ? There must still be a substantial risk if they swallow the hook ? I mentioned barbless to her uncle for this year coming. We'll see how that pans out.

We went to a hatchery in Calgary this summer. Many varieties of trout. It was pretty cool actually as the place was so dead we got to go 'backstage'.
