Thanks for the feedback! I also have a ton of commissions (10.5K last year and 4.5K so far this year) so that broker you use sounds interesting. I think I might try setting some stops and see how things work. Like you said...I can adjust them to match what the market should do.

One question...if you have a stop loss in, does it show as a sell order. What I'm getting at is if you have a stop loss set and you decide to dump the stock before they take out your stop...do you have to cancel the stop before you place your sell order in case they drop the stock hard and you end up with a double sale? Or if you sell the stock does it auto cancel the stop loss that was set on the shares you owned?

I think I forgot to tell you and Pat "Thanks for the stop loss feedback!". It was much appreciated. Now a question about your broker, do they let you download your account data in quicken format?
