I agree that AMD could have a significant increase in CPU revenues (some unit gain but also big ASP gain from the dismal 3Q01 resulting from shift T-Bird -> XP and retail mobile) to meet the possible 40% CPU revenue increase to match 1Q01 record but this doesn't seem to be fully reflected in the "10% or better" total revenues. However, unless it is a "lot better" than 10% AMD would have to have a lot of losses in other areas. Maybe AMD is being aggressive on projecting CPU revenues (to bolster confidence in CPU position) but conservative on total revenues (to ward off more shareholder lawsuits)?

I sure hope it isn't "(4) some creative accounting." <g>
