Ashcroft hides out from scrutiny by proclaiming his usual anti-terrorist rhetoric....What a bunch of rubbish. Lets look at the facts... 1)Terrorist manuals have been around for years APPARENTLY THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN SERIOUSLY EARLIER LIKE IN THE CLINTON ADMIN 2) Bomb making manuals have been available both in libraries and the internet for years. SAME ANSWER 3) Dangerous chemical cookbooks (using everyday household chemicals) are on the internet and available in some bookstores. OK 4)Simplified nuclear devices have been described in both Popular Mechanics and Popular science magazines in years past. OK But Ascrofts number one job is Protecting the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.....he chooses to ignore both...so it should be back to Missouri where he can demand a recount against the dead man he lost his election to. IF YOU FOLKS HAD NOT SUPPORTED THE HOUSEWIFE AFTER THE GOVERNOR DIED HE WOULD BE IN MO NOW. BY THE WAY #1 JOB IN WAS IS SECURITY. CANT HAVE A BILL OR RIGHTS WITHOUT THAT BASIC THING. Your attack on Ashcroft is pure rubish. Show me anything that Ashcroft has done or advocated that was not permitted under FDR during WW2. If it was constitutional then why is it not constitutional now? This is just partisan politics at its' very worst. It is time to rally round and get the job completed so that we can return to some semblence of normalcy. The left continues to prattle about poor benighted "immigrants" while we are dealing with illegal alien terrorists. The left should be concerned about innocent American civilians who have been killed in an attack of unprecedented carnage and who are targeted for further violence. How many eight square block areas are you willing to concede to give rights to enemy troops who have infiltrated our country? They are not protected by our constitution and do not deserve to be.
