That may happen, but I doubt it. He's ours, he's in our custody. I don't believe there is a record of ever turning a US POW citizen back to the local authorities. Anyway if he talks, which he does not seem to unable to do he is a gold mine of information. He'll be in cold storage for some time.

He's one of the most interesting people to come out of the Afghanistan conflict so far. We need to understand this guy and what motivates him. It will teach us a great deal. He is a person with an American upbringing who ended up fighting for the Taliban. What caused him to do that? The CIA will be considering that question for a few years. And JW will be sitting in a cell somewhere to answer any questions they may have along the way.

Years from now he may even write a book to explain it all. Book tours, the speaking circuit, radio and TV interviews. Hell, GZ, he may even end up with the same publisher as you. Who do you think will have the better seller?
