Looks if we have 200 "John Walkers" from the UK

18 Brits seek asylum after fighting for Taliban

At least 18 Britons who claim to have fought with the Taliban in Afghanistan have reportedly asked for political asylum in Pakistan.

They are among an estimated 200 British nationals who travelled to Afghanistan to support Osama bin Laden.

Abu Ibrahim, a member of Al-Mujahideen, says the 18 fear imprisonment on returning home.

The group of 18 told Pakistan officials that if they returned to Britain they could be charged under the Terrorism Act.

Ibrahim told the Press Trust of India that 50 Britons had already come back to the UK after taking part in the war for Taliban.
