Sorry Michael, but the tribunal has decided that you are persona non grata and are to be terminated. Press Button A to be terminated by electric chair and Button B to be terminated by hanging by the neck until you are dead. You were found guilty of participating in, giving comfort and ammunition to, aiding and abetting persons who were acting in a way harmful to the thread's interests. Press Button C to appeal, contact a lawyer, enact habeas corpus or otherwise enjoy those old fogie Enlightenment, 19th century and 20th century civil rights thingamies ... it will turn on laughter as you get frogmarched to your end. I'm sorry to have to end you like this, but there are too many people to do things right, so we are going to rattle through them quickly [after all, they are only aliens, not real people]. Actually, I'm kidding and you won't really go to the gallows or the laughing machine. Also, I agree with you that this and your comments were on topic and in fact most on topic because this is dealing with the crux of the whole issue. The crux is are aliens human or not? The USA whines to China about human rights of those who directly try to destroy the Chinese state. Then does exactly the same [holding without trial, military, secret tribunals with no human rights other than whatever some of those on the tribunal can be bothered allowing when they are in a hurry to get to lunch]. The USA purports to be Christian, the most fundamental tenet of which is do unto others as you would have then do unto you, not to mention the idea of universality of being human [not dividing them into alien and actual human]. The USA purports to be democratic but is NOT in favour of democratic rule of the world and full participation in that process. The USA is a hypocrite. Scared of the people? What about having trust in the people? The USA is now so powerful, economically, militarily and otherwise that it is now in a position to wield a hefty club against any state which takes the absolute ruler's displeasure. This is similar to the old Egyptian Pharaoh style where the courtiers did well and participated in government of the empire while the rest struggled for existence and the slaves at the bottom of the heap dragged the rocks for the Emperor's tomb. This is the age-old model for absolute rule and empire. Welcome to the bad old days. USA citizens are ruling the world. They select their leaders who act on behalf of their and their electorate's interests and those interests recognize no alien interests other than by mercy [if more than a third of the military tribunal agrees to mercy]. What about "No taxation without representation"? I'm a big taxpayer in the USA [via my shares] but have no say other than to vote with my feet and take my investments elsewhere [provided the military tribunal doesn't declare me an economic terrorist by such action]. I've got to go now, but that's a brief summary. Mqurice
