right, I hear what you are saying.
I didn't say I was bullish on the SOX, just that IMO the daily SMA were *more bullish* looking than the weekly.
but you said "the daily SMA looks even worse": really? I don't see that since in the weekly, price is testing both the 50 and 200 from underneath. whereas for on the dailies, price is above both and it should at least see a retest of the 50dma (from above).

I am not sure it "is" worse, but it "looks" worse since the 50 and 200 EMA are still far from crossing...

We really are not in a bull move until we cross and stay above the 200 EMA (and I actually add to that and do not breach it back for 4 months, of course, by then a good third of the move is done ...). Fake moves above the 200 EMA are a dime a dozen and hurt the most (g). In bear markets, the region of the 200 DMA is were advances are typically repulsed from. See May, June July and even August, when we satyed above for 4 days before taking a bad tail spin.
