Whether they'll admit it or not, I think those guys are really shaken up over Intel admitting that they blew it on SOI, and will be a generation late in getting to SOI. It's like Intel just started up the whole Rambus fiasco all over again from scratch. With Rambus Intel shot itself in the foot, with SOI they may have shot themselves in the head.
