Gregor, grampa and All:

God is in control, and it may be this very wreck that they survived (who was in control?) :), that will save them. Maybe it gets their attention.

I am praying and we are aware that God is in control!!

Also, I received an e-mail tonight, an update on Petey:

"We certainly appreciate your prayers. Petey goes to the surgeon tomorrow. We should know more then. We went with him to church today and when the altar call was given he went forward. We are so thankful. God is in control."

This was in a great Church (Presbyterian, and in tune)!! I will say it again, "God is in control!!"

Westi

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for Your love. Love so deep that we can only wonder at it. We ask that you touch the hearts of "Barbie" and her family. Their survival of this wreck is obviously Your will -- we ask that they see this not as more problems allowed by a vengeful Lord, but as a wake-up call from a Lord who loves them and asks only that they accept that love. Touch them Lord -- let them see this as a great chance for their lives. Cancel any bitterness they have long enough for them to see Your love.

I ask also that You give some young one somewhere, a reason to smile at this special time of year. There are so many who spend their days with tests and disappointments over having to undergo treatment instead of being home with families.

We Love You Lord and thank You for Your word, Amen
