Ted, Re: WDC -- Abit mobos suffer Western Digital glitch

theinquirer.net;

TGPTNDR, thanks for the info.

Another issue....I am surprised SGMA is up again today after a huge move on Friday. It seems to me earnings were better than expected but they are not out of the woods yet. They seem to have quite a bit of debt as well. Any comments?

TIA

ted

Why is my Western Digital drive not detected by my motherboard?

TGPTNDR, did not have time til now to check out the glitch problem...but how the hell can that happen? The motherboard can't find the hard drive......bet that makes it difficult to play Myst.m <g>

While not a techie, seems to me the problem should be solvable....I am glad to see that WDC is taking a diligent approach. Hope it doesn't cost to much money to fix.
