<<<For the poor to risk any of their money is foolish.>>>>

Would you object if the list of available investments included only government and government agency securities?

The polls favor the establishment of personal accounts by 2-1. I guess you weren't conducting the poll, so you don't agree with it. You would ask, "Do you support SS personal account, in which the any income you accumulate through investments will be offset by fees and commissions?" Of course, it would be an outrage. But, it is a lie.

Your response is a typical one from a democrat. Bash it but do not discuss it. You agree SS is in trouble, but when a plan is put forth that offers a way to not only save SS, but to make it possible to retire with wealth that you can pass on to your family, the response is an attack. Is it because the idea did not originate with the Democrats? Well, it did. This is Moynihan's baby. He is a good Democrat, though. That is the problem, I guess. He cares about America.

Bottom line. This is doable. To oppose it is to continue class warfare by keeping the poor poor, and racist. What else to expect from the left?
