The comment is being viewed as a positive for both AMAT and LRCX (+2.7%); both stocks ticking to highs of the day. 12:30AM Sector Watch: Semiconductor : -- Technical -- Sector is posting a solid gain on the session with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index or SOX higher by 1.7%. Nonetheless, the group is edging towards its worst levels of the session, currently trading at 567. Watch for notable support at 559 which represents its 200-day simple moving average as well as yesterday's close.
