Of course he is. And it's pathetically remarkable how deep liberal Democrats are willing to go into the cellar in order to appease their radical leftist leaders.

No reasonable thinking American would find "Merry Christmas" an offensive term! And it's ridiculous to believe the would.

Besides, even if some radical PC thinker is offended. It doesn't say in the Constitution "I have a right to never be offended".

.....and even, perhaps, the free exercise of religion

Sorry, I just have to chuckle. Since when does Christmas maybe involve the exercise of religion? Just shows how completely it has been co-opted by secular concerns.

Quite absurd considering Christmas is a Federal holiday.

"He is, indeed, stifling free speech, and even, perhaps, the free exercise of religion."

We don't allow exercise of religion in public buildings and many private places of employment don't allow it either. The company I worked for disallowed about 20 years ago. As you Christians so aptly demonstrate, religious issues are very sensitive topics so a little consideration of other's religions is necessary. And I disagree with you, reasonable people will applaud Sims sensitivity.
