got a late start this evening and since I'm behind you about 3hrs .. well I'm enjoying it. And ole yeller is now at 274. Since I'm only short or long PM's it looks fine to me. Might swap my KRY for some more KGC tomorrow. KRY has been a lucky one for me, but I think it is bout out of stuff here. KGC has hopefully bottomed.

Looks like this market could fall a long ways. Certain market index parameters look pretty weak. No big news to most here.

A continuing story going forward could be layoffs. More and more links about more and more layoffs, and Xmas season isn't over yet. A couple more that caught my eye:

I've been in the energy business 21 yrs. I smell layoffs where I work and began to smell them about mid summer. Too many new employees for too few reasons. Usually a good sign things have gone too far and will soon have to correct. Been a way of life in the energy business since the mid 80's. Quite a roller coaster for a lot of folks.
