Looks very promising for Intel going in to the new year - with a new process (0.12 micron) and new "Core" - the Northwood - with new SPEEDS - and new memory/chipsets (i845_DDR).

re. Analyst Hans Mosesmann, in a research note, said he believes that the current demand strength is more related to Intel P4 shortages rather than true demand for the Athlon XP.

gee Tony, don't tell me that those 6 am "Bob Herb's rallies" are not selling tons of Athlons ? :-)
