MIC, Any thoughts to the COLLAPSE in the IPP group? CPN, DYN, MIR, and NRG are my main focus.

I've done a extensive DD on this group after the ENE collapse, and ENE's loss is thier gain!

MIR has perhaps the best balance sheet, since it was a spin off fron SO.

CPN looks like a FANTASTIC takeover target, and also look extremely over shorted on what I see as no really bad news.

DYN has the highest growth rate, and should take the bulk of business from ENE, it has collapsed from 46 to 21.

I am considering that going into 2002, this group may outperform significantly from current prices.

Took small positon in MIR, and waiting on CPN, and DYN. The volume and price action on monday looked as if a bottom was forming, or at least interem support for CPN and DYN.

MIR was agian down on highest volume of year.

Just wondering if you think these are better shorts down here?

Thanks!
