Dear Jerome,

You should really get your facts straight.

The Packard Foundation has no BOD representation. They never were given the opportunity to comment on the proposal early on.

The Hewlett Foundation has no direct BOD representation either. Walter Hewlett is a board member by virtue of his own privately owned shares. He didn't bother to attend most of the board meeting, and I find his behavior to be irresposible and inappropriate for a board member of a major corporation.

The HWP board is mediocre at best, in all possible respects.
