Yup. Agreed.

However, I also don't think it's wrong for Intel to be the overriding factor in AMD's decisions. As I've said before, AMD is the challenger, and it's natural for a challenger to try to knock off the king of the hill.

This is the point and I'm glad you made it. Yes the Competition was a factor in the decision but not because it was AMD. Intel would have done the same thing if the competitor was TI, MOTO or whoever. It was a business decision. AMDroids think Intel wouldn't have done the same thing if it was any other company.
