Paul, i think the Japanese government is unduly optimistic with this forecast. :) and it's clear why they only "HOPE" that fiscal stimulus will revive the US economy...they have learned to their great cost that it doesn't work in a deflationary era. and frankly, it is highly doubtful that it can work at all. any economist yammering about how we "need" fiscal stimulus should go stand in a corner somewhere with a dunce cap on...
