Off topic -- January 2003 Superbowl is at Qualcomm Stadium (in San Diego).

(I was just wasting some time, looking at the NFL and Superbowl websites).

Maybe by then, people other than us will be excited about Qualcomm (?)

>> Quoting sources at China Unicom, the paper says its new mobile services will be available to handset users by Jan. 8.

So after all of the twists, turns, and potholes in the road, we're finally going to see commercial cdma go active in the most populous country in the world. On Monday evening, January 7, 2001, by which time it will be Tuesday January 8 in China, I'm going to put on my Rally Cap, open a bottle of bubbly, and celebrate the fruition of Dr. J's China Dream. It was an amazing journey.

Well done, Irwin.
