Captain. I'm sure you or someone will correct me if I'm wrong but were not Canadian soldiers fighting, being shot at and being killed fighting for freedom and liberty for a couple of years before the USA became involved in the second world war?

......" Then they get a little pissed when they read the country is a haven for terrorists. They have been known for that since they harbored the draft dodgers in the 60s instead of sending them back or to a jail in the NWT to be forgotten."......

Usa draft dodgers could be classed as desenters or cowards but I don't think they could be classed as terrorists. Mohamed Ali was a draft dodger, he didn't leave the country and went to jail...I think....but still he is an American hero. So to say Canada is a terrorist haven because it accepted USA draft dodgers is stretching it a bit don't you think. To say that there may be terrorist here and in the USA because of stupid Government
policies is the correct place for blame.

Think I read somewhere, maybe here that it is estimated that there may be 30,000 illegal aliens in Canada and something like 300,000 in the USA. Of course there is a big difference in populations to. I guess what I mean is that when elected officials get in power they become instant morons who react to special interest groups rather than reacting to the needs of the Country. Multi cultural groups, borders, immigration, religious groups etc.

There are some very strange laws here and in the USA that are really weird and beyond comprehension.
Maybe President Bush is the beginning of the end of special interest groups. I hope.
