While the lower interest, stimulus, and vastly cheaper energy costs are bound to create growth next year, the economy is now lacking a goal. Under Clinton's guidance the economy was investing in a tightly knit global structure. Bush seems determined to put an end to that. That leaves the economy without a goal, in such cases the economic growth tends to be very inflational.
