Gregg, as hard as it was for me to honestly come to grips with, my mind had been pre-conditioned since childhood on the futuristic beliefs that are present in evangelical churches today just as my parents and their parents were taugh to believe. The most difficult thing for us to overcome is childhood teachings. As you know, young minds accept without question what those who we trust taught us.

I used to say, I don't believe that! Its a bunch of hogwash. I believe what my church and parents told me and I will not even open the door just a little bit to see for myself what is in plain sight in the Bible should I care to look and question my preconceived thinking.

We must have the open mind to be ready to throw off what is false for what is truth even though it is the most difficult thing to do to question values that were drilled into you by those you love and trusted. Its not their fault. They were only passing on what they were taught.

Search it out. Its as plain as the nose on your face. To disbelieve that there was not a second coming of Christ in 70ad is to say that Jesus was in error or not telling us the truth. That is why so many have came against Christianity. Because so many of us fail to believe what Jesus prophesied.
