OT Robert, Perhaps I like puzzles, for I am still trying to sort out what is ahead for companies in this telecom space. GLW is perhaps the most puzzling. I recall an article that said an incredible amount of fiber optic cable was sold in 2000: "In 2000 alone, carriers installed 35.6 million kilometers of fiber just in the US - enough to circle the earth nearly 900 times." That is incredible, and raises a lot of questions about sales going forward. Somebody who understands this technology well should be able to do the math and figure out the future of GLW as well. I think in 2000 they were getting about 40% of revenue from selling fiber optic cable. I think GLW is either a fantastic buy here, or it will be just a market performer over the next 2-3 years. I don't know which answer is correct. Sales overseas to countries like Russia and China could be a key part of that.
