RE:I probably agree with the dems that there should be no caps put on awards to those who successfully sue medical professions, otherwise the lawyers would not be inclined to go against the well paid lawyers for the healtcare companies. On a more general lawyer and law question, what do you think about instituting the European system here where lawyers and plaintiffs have to pay the costs of people they sue if they lose the case? That would surely cut down on frivolous lawsuits here.
