yes you do, that is the nature of the beast that is IT executive. I was on of the meetings with dell reps when we were upgrading our number cranchers. I asked rep about amd and he said that amd would not only be cheaper but also better but if we want amd then we would have to go somewhere else and we are not a small client - I estimate 40,000 computers that are replaced every 3 years. IT would not go outside of Dell because that would mean their jobs at risk - if dell system would fails then it would be part of life but if cyberpower would fail then that it would because of their wrong decision
