There's a new bull market Prediction Du Jour every day. Sooner or later some pundit will get lucky in timing and be promoted to Wizard with his or her face on the cover of Forbes and Business Week. Maybe even an appearance on Wall Street Week!! Behind the talking suits are institutional incentives to spin, or individual clowns engaged in hocus-pocus at this point. If they knew they would be quiet and busy investing at lows.

Skeptical, but not cynical!!

Good comments. Additional points:

3. So far this year, the market has issued "forecasts" of economic recovery in January, May, and December.

5. The S&P 500 has not penetrated its 200-dma.
