You're the one who initiatiated your entry, unheralded and uninvited, into this discussion, Message 16806764 It's fine for you to jump into conversations, we all do it all the time. But don't then turn around and claim that I'm the one who took the opportunity to make this your business when all I did was respond to your post. That's dishonest. to identify oneself as "a minister" in the USA carries only one connotation. Well, I guess it's time to replace all the dictionaries on the world and simply submit all usage questions to Jewel. But frankly, I'm not responsible if you choose to hang out with people who don't use the English language properly. I do. my observation is that you are going to great lenths to evade and that alone incriminates you at some level. I'm not going to any lenths [sic] to evade anything. I'm merely asking E to follow for herself the rules she tries to lay down for others. With E here dictating what is and is not acceptable posting protocol on IH, and with you dictating what is and isn't proper use of language, I wonder why we bother looking to external authority at all.
