That may be true..However crushing blow may encourage India (that does not have good options) to deliver crushing blow
to militants in Pakistan....Same dilemma with Syria protecting Hamas/Hezbollar, but naturally on much grander danger scale

Interesting read, but I fear that fundementalism is far stronger than that author gives the movement credit for.

Great article, Bill. I hate to say it, but when people show compassion and try to reach out with understanding to fanatics who are thinly veiled murderers, what they get is tragedy and attacks. The only way to handle evil people is to destroy them first and then address the root cause later. We're doing that with Al Qaeda and the Taliban right now. We eliminated them first and now after Osama and Omar's capture, we can take a look at what spawns fanatics like that and help some of our Arab allies to address those root causes.
