Bob -- 9-11 here in Edmonton? It's like it never happened. Jobless rate, vacancy rate and the real-estate market are all in record territory -- it's a total boom here in Alberta. My Dad has an heavy equipment rental business where he specialises in pipelayer rentals and he doesn't have a Cat left in the yard. As-a-matter-of-fact he's got a dozer or two double booked and this is stressing him out. Too busy... Part of the reason I've taken some small positions in base metals is because of the disbelief that there is anything wrong. It like the general public is using patriotism to will the market back to health. And why not? The fed has lowered rates 11 times this past year ... lots of new cars, lots of new houses and lots of smiling faces. It's like there is two realities, SDII and Main Street U.S.A. the trick here is to walk the fine line between the two. Best, Frank P.
