Another meaningless slogan. It's fiscal responsibility that is needed for prosperity, something lacking in the Reagan whitehouse, and perhaps even worse in the Bush Jr. whitehouse since he should have known better.

And remember, Clinton fought against balancing the budget.

Clinton only supported balancing the budget hypothetically - in the out years - when he would not be in office. But Gingrich and the GOP Congress forced him into doing it on their terms.

Clinton's only positive achievements were on things he was forced to adopt from the GOP agenda. Clinton lost his wild schemes for huge new spending early on.
