As soon as it became apparent that Gore would accept defeat, and there would be no crisis, things stabilized. Besides, everyone knew that there was going to be a high- tech meltdown any day. It had been discussed intently a few years before.....

Another fallacy. Please analyze in detail how Scalia, an associate justice, "appointed" Bush. This is demolib pinhead crap. Facts are the decision is defensible on at least three different grounds, two Constitutional and one statutory. Seven of the nine justices found the recount ordered by the FLSC violated the 14th amendment on four different grounds (and BTW so did 3 of the seven FLSC judges). The demolib bashers of the Bush v. Gore decision, you included, have never thoughtfully analyzed it nor have they provided real justification for the scorn heaped on the decision. Moreover, although I'm sure the Court would have liked to take a pass, the way the dispute was resolved was probably the least nasty solution to a Constitutional crisis precipitated by Lying Al's team.

Bush is President. You need to get behind your President and your country you little weasel or do us all a favor and shut your lousy whining yap......
