so you are disputing that even equal numbers of innocent Palestinian civilians are dying by co-lateral damage during legitimate attacks on guilty parties?

I do not know the exact ratio of combatants to innocents who died. Neither does B'tselem. Neither do you. What I do know is that a) the Palestinian tactics are designed to produce high Palestinian casualties, and b) as you say, innocent Palestinian civilians are dying as colateral damage, while c) innocent Israeli civilians are dying as the intended targets of the intifada, not as colateral damage at all. To me, this makes a difference. If it does not to you, may I ask, do you regard dead Afghan civilians killed by US bombs as exactly equivalent to dead US civilians killed by Al Quaeda airplane highjackers?

Then the desirable ratio is infinity. Non of your losses verses loads of enemy dead.

If you're fighting a ground war, yes. But if you're fighting a PR war, as this one is, the reverse is true. Check out the PA propaganda sites. Do they say, "we're big and strong and whacked a lot of Israelis"? They do not. They say, "we're complete innocents and the Israeli oppressor is killing hundreds of us for no reason whatever!"
