The detonation of a plutonium bomb in midtown Manhattan, or poisoning of the water supply of Chicago, will involve much greater loss of life than any hurricane or earthquake. A rash of incidents will create a terrible panic. I send my wife off to Washington most mornings knowing that the subway that she takes is a prime target for a gas attack. So far, that does not hamper us from going about our business. But if there were such a random series of gassings, in the subways of several major cities, it would be hard to get people to use subways again. Seriously, you are being ridiculous........
