Sftie, you sound like Westpacific on Sept. 27th. Read what was my response to him then: #reply-16424755 (mostly technical reaons for a bottom st on September 21st), by the way, anyone seen westpacific lately? Here where some of the "liquidity arguments for a strong market past an uncertain December: #reply-16638398. Just so you can "mull" other possibilities and avoid being mauled too hard. et ready for a nice bullish January, IMTO, not the massacre you are seeing now. Right now, I would say that we will have seen 2160, before the end of January, we might even match the early spring 2001 first barrier at 2250.

Techie, if we got to 2100 by mid-January with strong momentum, we could go to 2160, 2181, or 2250 by the end of January. You covering your doubled up short positions would help facilitate the rally. Actually, without short covering any rally would be nowhere near as strong.
