Honestly Santiago , you can read this ignorant pile of mish-mash and it makes any sense at all to you ? I wasn't using the word "brainwashed" , but now that you mention it ..... Yes , there were those times when the "chosen people of the lord " were nothing but a rag-tag group of wanderers in the desert . They believed in their ignorance that the ills of the body , sicknesses and disease were caused by the invasion of *evil spirits* and devils , etc. These are the same group of people that produced all this mad nonsense of the Old Testament and the violence , vengence and hatred in that predecessor of the Bible . The same people that used to sacrifice goats and sheep to their God Jehova by the thousands , as if the animals were guilty of their original Sin to. The blood ran like a river on the altars of ancient Judaism and throughout the long tortuous history of Christianity . The only light of reason and wisdom that really ever shone thru it all and was a saving grace in the West, was the light revealed originally from the ancient Greek Culture and philosophers, Scientists and Artists...that even the "Church" could not supress...though they tried desperately . You have heard of the Rennaisance ? And you still believe that the body is evil and full of Sin and distraction and inherently bad ? I can tell you Santiago that there are a million things happening within you right now on just a physical level ustaining you , you might not even be aware of . Processes upon prosesses on many levels that make it pssible for you to be sitting at your computer right now typing away . For every EVIL you can point out in those askewed and ancient warped written dogmas of the body , I could point out 1000's of positives of the beauty of the body's construction and it's wisdom. Have you been to a great Ballet recently and watched the beautiful (sinful) dancers ? Those that wrote that understood so little about themselves in those days , lived in fear around every corner , it's too pitiful to recall . There was no love of themselves , and only fear of the unknowns , evil spirits and devils taking possession of them, and disease .... And you are talking about being brainwashed ? Is there something inherently "EVIL" in men (and women) competing in Olympic games together , even back to the first games where the contestants did so completely naked ? Of developing the bodys natural gifts , love of grace and beauty , and learning to live in moderation and humility and good health ? The true shame of the History of the race of man , Santiago ...believing in and being brainwashed by exactly that kind of ancient illiteracy and ignorance. This is not divinely inspired writings , this is pure superstition at it's greatest . There is more common good and universal brotherhood created thru the Olympic Games today , than by all the preaching in the world combined . It's called the "enlightenment" of man ...and it is getting better all the time . regards Mars
