being an ART dealer I have a similear interaction where I get CEO's of major and smaller campanies. I get a pretty good read on the economy. What confuses me is that despite all these guys seing deterioration in their biz they are still spending pretty liberally. Dont get that. I dont get that whille Unemployment spiked from 4.7 to 5.7 Housing contiues being strong, the high end auto biz has picked up again. Its like the band playing as the TITANIC sinks.
